Harmony Yoga was created by Paula Wilson, Registered Yoga Teacher, in 2004. Paula was trained in Ashtanga Yoga, which is a Vinyasa flowing style of yoga. She teaches to all ages and all levels of ability. She teaches preschool age, grade school, teens and family yoga, as well as many levels of adult yoga. She is currently teaching in Merrimac and Amesbury, MA and teaches a special needs yoga class in Methuen, MA.

What yoga is to me
Yoga is a unique and dynamic discipline that encompasses all aspects of your being. It is an awesome physical practice that develops flexibility, strength, balance, increases energy, all while reducing stress and tension. It also helps you become more centered. Yoga includes physical postures and breathing exercises, as well as meditation and relaxation. By balancing all systems of your body and your being, yoga helps you to relax and focus on a centered and peaceful place; which allows you to face life’s daily challenges from a better perspective.
Yoga has been the one constant in my life for more than twelve years. It has helped me through the many stresses of being a parent and everyday life. It has also helped me with many injuries I have suffered in my adult life and made me a stronger person, both physically and mentally. I have tried many forms of exercise, but, yoga is the one aspect of my life that has maintained my health and well being.
